The Mini-Shootout is where remote-control boats a fraction of the size of powerboats race at speeds in the triple digits! These races are thrilling to watch as the machines go faster than many of the big boats ten times their size at the Shootout! On August 21-23, Mini Shootout racers go head-to-head against each other, reaching speeds of over 100 mph in six different classes, with Splash Runs, Bracket Racing, Exhibition Races and Powder Puff Racing. Check out the schedule online for Class Runs, the Bounty Race and Top Gun racing times. Races are held in front of the Ha Ha Tonka Springs.

2019 Easter Events at the Lake of the Ozarks

Easter is just around the corner, and there are many fun Easter Egg Hunts and Brunches happening all around the Lake of the Ozarks. A B Pest Control & Insulation has all the details of the Easter festivities happening this weekend. 5th Annual Osage Beach Easter Egg Hunt

The 5th Annual Osage Beach Easter Egg Hunt will be held on April 20th at the Osage Beach City Park! 50,000 candy filled Easter eggs spread across the ball fields at Osage Beach City Park. Kids are divided into four age groups for a crazy fun shotgun start egg hunt! Golden ticket prizes, face painting, bounces houses, and a free hot dog lunch provided by First Family Church makes for a fun filled day.

Anyone can enter for a fun day on Lake of the Ozarks! Visit over 40 of our participating locations on the water to collect your poker hand. Enter the Harbor hop by stopping at any of the check points. To obtain a hand, sign up and pay an optional $20 donation. Any player can enter more than once. The 1st card is drawn at the checkpoint where the hand is purchased; 6 additional cards are obtained by hopping to six more checkpoints drawing one card, per hand, at each location. The hand is complete when the 7th card is drawn. To qualify the hand must be turned in by 7pm at your last checkpoint. Winners will be notified by certified mail. A kids area will be available where they can create an assortment of art projects to take home with them. Displays of works by local and regional artists and a vendors area where items can be purchased are in the works as well. The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Hall of Fame Dinner is a special time to honor those who have shaped the Shootout. The dinner is being held on August 21, 2018 at the Stables at Cannon Smoked Saloon in Sunrise Beach. A social hour will get the event started at 6 p.m., with dinner served at 7 p.m. and new inductees honored at 8:30 p.m. Shootout Top Guns and past dignitaries will honor and welcome the new inductees into the Shootout Hall of Fame. Tickets for the dinner are $35 each or $350 for a table, which includes a commemorative bottle of the official Shootout Whiskey. Everyone is welcome to come celebrate 30 years of Shootout and to honor the inductees.
