Stark Caverns has taken one of their most popular tours and spiced it up for February. They took their famed Black Light Tour and transformed it into the perfect date night for you and your sweetheart. This tour will feature an elegant champagne reception with a chocolate tasting and a keepsake photo. Together you will experience the surreal world of the caverns transformed by the cave's minerals reacting to the ultraviolet light. We have just one word for you, Romantic! Did you know that part of Stark Cavern's history is that it was used as a speakeasy in the 1900 prohibition era with a complete dance floor? Well for a limited time in February the dancing is back! For their Dessert and Dancing event, they will have a professional ballroom dance instructor to teach you and your Valentine some fun beginner dance steps. You will also be greeted with a champagne reception (must be 21 for champagne), and for your sweet tooth, they've partnered with "Cakes Baby" in Downtown Eldon to create a romantic tour where you will indulge in several delicious dessert samples. Samples will include heart-shaped macaroons, strawberry cheesecake, and chocolate truffles. 

This event is only for four nights on the 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th of February from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and they are limiting the capacity to 16 people per night so you will want to reserve your spot quickly before it's sold out. The price is $90.00 per couple, $45.00 dollars per person.

This "unbearable" event is a unique opportunity to show your bravery as you support local Special Olympics athletes by plunging into the frigid winter waters. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Missouri. SOMO exists to provide year-round sports and training opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities and our athletes need you to get involved.

Participants must be at least 10 years old and raise a minimum of $75 by event day. The Polar Plunge is a project of the Law Enforcement Torch Run(R) for Special Olympics Missouri. Osage Beach PD is proud to host this event.

Mardi Gras Pub Crawl - The World's Largest Pub Crawl! Busses Start at 4:00 PM (VIP Shuttle Service Available too!) COST : $10 Wrist Band - Instead of charging a cover charge at each location buy your wrist band and get into every participating bar/restaurant. 

The wrist band is required and includes: Entry to 16 participating venues Unlimited entertainment – All locations will have band or DJ Bus transportation to all 16 locations. Pick up and drop off at participating Hotels/Motels. Wrist bands can be purchased the night of the event or before the event at all 16 participating Bars/Restaurants and specific Hotel/Motel sponsors. Sunshine Daydream on the Bagnell Dam strip will have wrist bands available, too! 

Pub Crawl Rules $10 event charge required. No alcohol is permitted to enter or leave any event location. Busses will make scheduled stops only. Must be 21, possess a valid ID, and have a wristband to ride the busses. Must have wrist band to enter participating Pub Crawl stops. Drink responsibly. Your celebration of Valentine’s Day should be as unique as your relationship. That’s why Stark Caverns has teamed up with local chef, Allen Plemmons to create a romantic evening filled with food, wine, beer and music served up underground. 

Working with local wineries and breweries, Chef Plemmons is planning a tasting menu to complement each unique beverage created for you by regional artisans. The evening will include wine from Canterbury Hill, Golden Rock, and Seven Springs wineries, and brews from Bees Knees and Lake of the Ozarks Brewing. 

You and your significant other will enjoy a romantic stroll through the amazing underground world of Stark Caverns, enjoying sights like Onyx Falls, Garden of the Gods, Moonshiner’s Dam, and the Wishing Well. At each station, you’ll enjoy a magnificent pairing of food and drink, before returning to the ballroom for dessert and coffee. 

The evening will also include live music and a commemorative photo. Seating’s will begin at 6:00 pm, on Friday, February 14, 2020. The Lake of the Ozarks is celebrating Mardi Gras a bit early with the world's largest pub crawl! With 17 participating venues and tons of live music, you will not want to miss one of the biggest events at the Lake. The 2017 Mardi Gras Pub Crawl will bring you a night full of live music, exciting fun, plus, a safe ride to get you to all the great venues and hotels on the Pub Crawl route.
